Heating maintenance for gas and oil systems — annually, at a fixed price.
We service gas boilers and gas and oil heating systems in Leipzig and the surrounding area. A regularly serviced system usually uses less fuel, breaks down less often and lasts longer. For many manufacturers, annual maintenance is also a warranty condition.
What the fixed-price maintenance covers.
The maintenance follows the manufacturer’s specification for your appliance: cleaning, measuring and adjusting the combustion values, checking the safety devices, checking the gas-carrying components for leaks — and recording the result in the measurement report. The appointment usually takes 60 to 90 minutes.
What happens when it is skipped is shown in the picture: the heat exchanger of a gas condensing boiler after a long period without maintenance. The deposits between the heating surfaces are combustion residues and act like insulation. The heat no longer fully reaches the heating water, the flue gas temperature rises — and with it, exactly the condensing effect the appliance was built for is lost. The deposits also narrow the flue gas paths.
Our maintenance does not replace the measurement and fireplace inspection by the authorised district chimney sweep — these are two separate appointments with different purposes.
Why the pump pressure makes the difference.
On oil systems we set the pump pressure with a pressure gauge — 8.5 bar in the picture. The spray pattern and spray angle of the nozzle change with the pump pressure, and we tune the combustion to that.
The more complete the combustion, the fewer deposits form in the boiler. The heat exchanger stays clean longer, the system keeps its values over the year — and the next maintenance is less work. Careful adjustment pays off not on the day of maintenance but in the twelve months after it.
What maintenance costs.
Every system is different: appliance, age, condition and accessibility determine the effort. We therefore set the price individually for your system in the maintenance contract — and then charge exactly this fixed price.
Exception: if the system has not been serviced for a long time, we charge the first maintenance according to the actual effort. Wear parts and consumables such as oil nozzle, oil filter or maintenance kit are charged separately.
How the appointment comes about.
You get a specific time window, not a whole day. We clarify the appliance type and year beforehand so that we come prepared. After the appointment you receive the measurement report; before the maintenance interval runs out, we get in touch for the next one.
