Gas installation inspection: a visual check with a certificate for the network operator.

Operators of a gas installation must have it checked at regular intervals. The Gashausschau is the visual inspection of the entire installation in the building; the interval is usually set by your gas network operator.

What is checked.

The visual inspection covers the entire installation in the building: the gas pipes from the main shut-off device to the appliances, their fixings and penetrations, the installation rooms with ventilation and combustion air supply, the flue system and the gas appliances themselves.

The Gashausschau is a visual inspection. It does not replace the gas pipe leak test, in which the leak rate of the pipe is measured — both can be done in the same appointment.

Appointment, duration, result.

DurationFor a detached house, allow 45–60 minutes. All rooms with gas pipes must be accessible.
CertificateThe inspection certificate for submission to the network operator is included.
CostsFixed price for a detached house, by effort for several units — we tell you the price before the appointment.

Defects are not just noted.

If we find a defect, we distinguish between what must be fixed immediately and what you can plan calmly. Smaller things we fix directly during the appointment where possible, if you agree. For everything else you get a written assessment with a price.
